The great journey through the universe

Event on 3 February 2023, 5 p.m. in the Haus der Astronomie

December 21, 2022

The Haus der Astronomie is offering a virtual journey through the universe (in German). The launch is scheduled for 3 February 2023 at 5 pm. Your pilot will be Markus Nielbock, who will guide you through the cosmos in our digital, interactive Zeiss Planetarium.

We start from Earth and fly out into our solar system via the International Space Station ISS. There we can fly to and orbit all the planets and their moons. The images shown on the planetarium dome are composed of real images from space telescopes and space probes.

The journey then continues through the Milky Way, known exoplanets and to distant galaxies. And perhaps we will even succeed in flying to the end of the universe?

The space flight will be led by HdA staff member Dr. Markus Nielbock, who will be able to answer your questions and, of course, fulfil individual travel requests from the audience.

One thing is certain, however: at the end you will land safely back on Earth.

You can find more information on the event page (in German only). You can also book tickets online there.
