NEW: Entdecke das Weltall - an astronomy book for primary school children
We at the House of Astronomy are constantly developing new astronomical materials for use in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. Now we can extend our palette with a new book for children aged 6 to 12 years.
The book which is available in German only is entitled "Entdecke das Weltall (Discover the Universe)" and is part of the "Entdecke" Book Series of the Natur und Tier-Verlag, Münster. It was written by our staff member Natalie Fischer, who is the woman in charge of our programmes for kindergarten and primary school.
The richly illustrated book is also suitable for adults, e.g. parents, kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers, and others who are interested in the beauty of the universe and its phenomena. You can look over the shoulders of astronomers with their huge telescopes and exciting questions about the universe. Tips and tricks for observing the starry sky yourself round off the work.
