German-Japanese Meeting "Disks & Exoplanets" at HdA

    Starting today, 60 astronomers from Japan and from Germany are meeting at the HdA for the 2014 German-Japanese Meeting "Disks & Exoplanets". The researchers will discuss new observations and insights into the disks that are the birth-places of new planets, as well as into the properties of exoplanets and their consequences for planet formation.

    The meeting, organized by the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, will take place until this Friday.
