Gwen Sanderson

I joined Haus der Astronomie as Organisational Assistant, for the Office of Astronomy for Education (OAE) of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) on 1st April 2020.
BA (Hons) in Modern Languages and International Studies (1980-1984). During the last 20 years I have worked in event management positions both in the Academic world and in a Business environment with all levels of executive within client organisations as well as academics from postgraduate students through to Nobel Prize winners.
I have lived and worked in diverse international environments, Venezuela, El Salvador, United Kingdom, Spain, France and Germany and feel comfortable in multi-cultural situations as well as communicating effectively in three languages.
