HdA for Scientists

Fostering communication and the exchange of ideas between scientists is an important part of our mission. To this end, the Haus der Astronomie serves as a meeting place, in particular for interdisciplinary events. In July 2012, HdA will be the venue for the .astronomy 4 conference on networked astronomy and the new media.

We also support astronomers in communicating their science to the general public and to pupils – with advice, assistance, and the preparation of suitable props. For the future, we are also planning "Outreach 101" workshops aimed at professional astronomers.
